MBM Destroyit 4002CC cross cut shredder is a medium security, heavy duty, high volume centralized office shredder that is ideal for environments where high capacity information disposal is the order of the day. Like many other Destroyit shredders, it comes with an “Easy Switch” button control element that uses color coded backlights to indicate the operational status of the unit. It is very quiet in its operation despite its powerful three-quarter horsepower single-phase motor with a twin drive system. This allows to shred up to 26 paper sheets in a single pass at a rate of 25 ft/min.
MBM Destroyit 4002cc shredder can easily shred paper clips, staple pins, credit cards and optical media (CDs/DVDs/Blu-rays) and features an auto start /stop function by virtue of a photo cell which allows it to commence operation as soon as it detects paper or plastic material on its feed opening and stops operation when shredding is complete or the waste bin is full. Destroyit 4002CC shredder features a continuous duty motor allowing it to operate for extended periods of time without overheating. 4002cc shredder also features patented ESM® (Energy Saving Mode) technology which puts the shredder in standby mode after 1 hour of inactivity.
