Shredder Features:
- Single-pass Secure Erase technology utilizes internal disk drive code to perform low frequency recording, which exceeds overwriting standards.
- Ability to erase up to three hard
drives at once. Disks can be of mixed type ATA/IDE, SATA or SCSI (available 1st quarter '07). Supports 2.5” and 3.5” drives. - DoD 5220-22M compliant over-writing for non-compliant disk drives.
- All software licenses included to allow erasure of unlimited number of disk drives.
- Fully integrated unit includes laminate label printer with 7” touch screen interface, durable sheet metal construction with aluminum frame and machined aluminum drive connectors. 300W power supply.
- Completely transportable at 8.5”w x 11”h x 12”d. Weighs under 15lbs with integrated carrying handle.
- Automatic disk recognition and user programmable defaults means quick turn around time.
- Tamper-proof, drives are physically secured in place during erasure. ‘No-cable’ drive connectors, Delrin tray and ESD ground strap connector for fast but safe drive handling.
- Certification labels record operator, date and time, disk drive technical information and erasure method used.
- All operating data retained for download and administrative reporting.
- Erased disk drives are completely reusable, user can program scripts to repartition, reformat and even image processed disk drives for immediate reuse.
- Optional cases (hard and soft shell) are available.
